At 8 years old and 42kgs, Tyson is a gentle giant who experiences the world a little differently. He likes his world slow, and lives life to his own clock — but beneath it all is one incredibly sweet soul deserving of patience, understanding, and love. Tyson thrives on routine and is fully toilet trained, sleeps beautifully through the night, and enjoys quiet companionship. He loves soft beds, calm environments and walks beautifully. He will let you know when he needs his own space and likes to be left alone when sleeping. Tyson is looking for an experienced, child-free, dog savvy home who will take time to understand his needs.
He’ll need: on-lead walks only, a quiet, relaxed home, plenty of soft beds and personal space, a patient, experienced owner, no children, and a low or larger car for easy transport.

Foster carers pay a vital role in preparing greyhounds for pet life. By giving them a chance to decompress and an introduction to living in a domestic environment, you’re helping to set them up for the best start once they find their forever home. You’ll guide them through a lot of their ‘firsts’, while letting the rehoming agency know what changes and personality quirks you see evolving. You’ll be supplied with everything you need and support is just a phone call away!
